The Fours, based in Amsterdam, is an electrifying Rhythm and Jazz quintet known for their original compositions blending Latin Jazz, Brazilian rhythms, Funk, and Caribbean grooves. This dynamic group, forged from deep friendships and extensive international experience, was formed after a serendipitous jam session. Their performances are marked by funky, swinging vibes and a fusion of styles, creating a vibrant, engaging sound.

The ensemble features Leslie Lopez, a versatile Puerto Rican bassist, percussionist, and arranger, celebrated for his work with Nueva Manteca, Cubop City Big Band, and the New Cool Collective. Leslie’s impressive career includes multiple awards and global teaching engagements.

Raya Hadzhieva, a Bulgarian jazz trumpeter, studied at Amsterdam’s Conservatory and excels in jazz, world music, and pop. Dutch guitarist Jeen Rabs is renowned for his collaborations and extensive studio work. Drummer Olaf Keus brings expertise in jazz, Latin, Brazilian, and funk styles, while Tycho Burgerhoff, a percussionist with a background in Latin rhythms, has toured Europe extensively with various bands.

Together, The Fours deliver captivating performances that showcase their collective talent and passion.
