The Ten-Member All-Star New Orleans Celebration is Back and Ready to Bring Funky New Orleans Vibes Your Way!

The Big Gumbo Show is a thrilling, high-energy journey through the music, history, and culture of New Orleans, led by American musician and entertainer Gregory Boyd. Joined by an exceptional ensemble featuring Danish talents from renowned groups like Lukas Graham, the DR Big Band, and artists such as Sinne Eeg and Gregory Porter, the show brings the sounds of New Orleans to life with an incredible lineup. The musicians include Jesper Bodilsen, Jens Kwella, Michael Mølhede, Tomas Frank, Esben Just or Henrik Gunde, Nikolai Bøgelund, Jens Chr. Damm, Lone Boyd, and Michelle Elmhøj.

The performance begins with the soulful rhythms of the Black Indians, continuing with gospel from Mahalia Jackson, the jazz of Louis Armstrong, the jump blues of Louis Jordan, and New Orleans rhythm and blues by legends like Smiley Lewis and Fats Domino. The second set delivers funk and Mardi Gras classics, featuring Professor Longhair, Dr. John, Earl King, and The Neville Brothers, with favorites like Yellow Moon, Hey Pocky Way, and What a Wonderful World.
