Ritmos Negros is a multi-national band dedicated to interpreting Afro-Peruvian music, a genre that blends African, Andean, and European musical elements, originating from Peru’s coast. The band has gained international acclaim, performing at renowned European festivals, including the legendary Glastonbury Festival in 2019, making them only the second band from Peru and Bulgaria ever to receive such an invitation.
Their repertoire spans traditional Afro-Peruvian music, instrumental pieces, and original tunes infused with jazz and contemporary elements. In 2018, Ritmos Negros released their self-titled album, showcasing their versatility and deep connection to musical traditions.
